Jesus and the Transitive Property

i love words
i worship at their altar
i am in love with their power
with how they can represent ideas
and stand for more than one thing
and how you can play with them
to make their meanings
even more meaningful

in math, the transitive property
says if a equals b
and b equals c
then a equals c

the Gospel of John refers to Jesus
as The Word

so I guess it stands to reason
I am in love
with Jesus
after all!
